    hey there i got a new sub from strathfield details as follows:

    Peak Power: 1300W
    Rated Power: 380W
    Frequency Response: 18Hz - 2kHz
    Impedence: 4 ohm
    Sensitivity: 89dB/W/m

    i have a old 2chanel 120W amp hooked up to it (bridged) but it sounds like s*** just woundering wot would be the best amp suited for this sub, and if any1 else has the same.

    An amp that makes 380Wrms at 4 ohm. Easiest way to get that power would be a 2 channel rated at 100-150Wrms per channel at 4 ohm. If you want a cheap amp that'll "do the job" the Jaycar 2 x 150W would be great for it.

    So what's the problem? It sounds like a normal Sony sub?
