Clarion or Pioneer?/

ok im looking at chucking in sum subs n amps into me commo was wondering wat u recon is better... these are the two brands im looking at

Clarion:
- Subs
2x 12" PXW1251 (Dual 2-OHM Voice coil) -1000watts Max Power -500watts RMS
1x 15" PXW1552 (Dual 4-OHM Voice coil) -1500watts Max Power -750watts RMS

- AMPs
1x DPX1800 (800W Mono Power)


Pioneer
- Subs:
2x 12" TSW306C (1000watts Max Power i think)
2x 12" TSW3004SPL (3000watts Max Power)

please tell me what u think and if so ur experiences with either brand and or subs / amp

personally i would be goin for the clarion as i hav bought a few of there products my system is mostly pioneer but its slowly bein upgraded. just a tip always use rms/nominal power ratings

yea i kno gotta look at rms just dont hav the exact figures on me for the pioneer ones hehehe

the pioneer 1000w max is 400rms i have this sub installed in my car n im happy as larry its prolly the better sub ive heard out of a clarion but really its up 2 u on personal preference i rekon go 2 an audio shop and get them 2 do a test in front of u with both subs and then decide from there

Yeah, for a comparision like Clarion and Pioneer it's more of a personal preference thing. See if you can have a listen to both if possible. If you have a little more money to spend you may even want to consider moving away from some of the mainstream and get something a little more exotic. If you don't though, i'm sure you'll still be contented with whatever you get.
