120 for 2 subs sounds like a pretty sweet deal dude
<<DRIVE IT LIKE ITS HOT>>
"Calais, interior is rezzed, mess my interior, its suicide you d!ckhead"
for the money, that is a very good deal.
these woofers are great value for money new, and 2 for 120 is great, considering they are in good nick.
i used to have one of these myself, and was impressed with the performance for the price.
these will run fine off a monoblock so long as the power and load ratings are suitable.
yea well still thinkin about gettin them, they are in good nick only about 4 mths old

They retailed for $199 each... But when they were being phased out they could be had for around $100-120 each, so $120 for 2 is a good price. I know a few people with two of those subs and they're more than happy with the output from them.
Hmmmm they look ok but i just have a thing against pioneer subs. Had one before and it sounded like someone hitting a cardboard box with a mallet. This may be a better one though
mate i just got rid of 1 10" version of that sub, now if im correct the Pic you are showing is also a 10". These Subs hammer, just makesure that ur mate hasn't been thrashing them, and if he hasn't i highly recommend you buy them
The pic he is showing is the 12" version. 305 refers to 30cm which is about 12". The 10" was a 255.

that stuffing is used to trick the enclosure into thinking it is larger than it actually is. essentially, it adds volume to the box. im not sure if it would affect the sound of the woofer in a negative manner.
If you listen to a sub with and without the "dacron", you won't hear a difference. I've added it to heaps of boxes and they sound the same afterwards.
Dacron is the white fluffy stuff.
true well wen i didnt use it my sub kinda sounded....... hollow if thats the word but since i used it the bass sounds more crisp (basey) and clear? mayb its was just mine hahaha who knows.....
yea they are 12", yea was wondering what that stuff was called thanx

Could be the wax in your ears, this could be detrimental to the sound of your sub, cotton buds could be the answer.Originally Posted by wrx884

no worries point taken tho box was built 2 the specs of the pioneer sub so i dunno how else u coulda built the box ne better i used 16mm MDF used epoxy resin and screwed (pre drilled) then sealed each join up with silicon i am a cabby myself and if u have a better way 2 make the box better ur help would b considered and taken in 4 future references??? box isnt ported either its just a standard box
