hey people, 1 of my 6" on my parcel shelf has that cracked bassy sound and its not 2 bad down low but if u go over a certain amount. but then it sounds really bad. and i dont have enough money at the moment to go buy new speakers(or i would) and i was wondering is there just a quick fix 4 it? so it will loose or minimize the cracked bass sounds like glueing something?. anyways thanks people.....![]()
my quick fix would be to disconnect both your rear speakers. It doesn't make alot of difference if you're not sitting in the back, and hopefully you're driving from the front.
go to the wreckers they'd just about give you one if you werent fussy
yeah its not a stock speaker but, its aiight but yeh, so there is no way i can glue something or nething at all? and i dont really want to disconnect them because i dont know why but i like back speakers.... and ive only got stocks in the front hahaha... anyways so like i was saying there is no way at all 2 fix or minimize that shitty cracky bass? thanx![]()
yeah well for a start, turn down the bass on the h/u eq and then the distorsion will stop! no more cracking and horrible sound!
hahaha yeah i sort of tried that.... works alot of the times, but can still tell that its there...... o well its all good ill jus stay with them till i can afford a good set........ recomend any 6" speakers worth the money?
whats you price range?
ummm just under $100, there just for now until i get the pioneers that i want (yellow 6")
Yeah $100 won't get you anything real flash, but as you said if you're absolutely set on having rear speakers and plan on upgrading later then i suppose you could check out supercheap or ebay and try and pick up a set around that.
aiight thanks heapsill go look on monday or something after school
