Ebay specials. The whole lot cost me around $500

    10’’ were $50 the pair
    12’’ were $60 the pair
    The amp was $160
It took about 10 hours to build the boxes, put the carpet on and set it up.

The boxes can be unpluged and slide out with ease.
What I will do later is cut the spare tyre board and change the carpet so I can lift it without removing the boxes.

I thought it would have been a waste of time and money too but I had to try it and it sounds great. I just need to do a few more things to the wagon and I will show more pix soon.

If you could find a way to perhaps get rid of two of those subs (or maybe both, and spend the money on 2 better ones) and maybe try to put somehting else along the sides. You really arent going to get great sound with those 4 subs, particularly as theyre different brands and sizes.

But hey, if you like it, keep it. Definately looks good, i just think it could probably sound better

different sized speakers do have different characteristics that can lead to detriment of sound but if your happy then by all means keep it.

where can i get that carpet stuff and how much is it?

dunno where that carpet came from, but you can buy automotive carpet at clark rubber, bunnings, ebay, actual carpet stores etc... Sorry can't remember exact prices

I`m happy with it for the price and time I have spent on it.

Only worry now is keeping people way from the car.

I like the install looks very good, but i suggest later on down the track if your funds allow changing the subs to a bit better brand.
