i know jlaudio, kicker and focal all make an 18" sub with varying power handling and was wondering who else made large subs ie bigger then 15" and what these are like. i want to make a statement and was wandering what i should get and approx how much these would be worth. btw i would also be purchasing a suitble amp
any help would be greatly appreciated thnx
MTX jack hammer, i saw one on eBay for $5000 but they really aren't worth it.
yea not a huge fan of mtx had a few probs with my 15" so i got rid of it and i just found that eclipse also make an 18"
Also:
Digital designs 9918c,
1500wRMS/3000music/6000peak
rrp $2599.
EDIT* I think JBL make some 18"s as well.

they sure do.
get a 9918, and then get one of these to power it

then find an enclosure big enough to house it yet small enough to fit in the trunk of your commodore and still sound good....
You put you left foot in, your put your right foot in , you take your left foot out and you slide it all about!
why does an 18inch sub mean u make a statement? kicker has 15s that go upto like 15000 peak and 7500rms and it would probably sound better
www.realmofexcursion.com
also if you want to see how good subs go then this site has heaps of vids of almost eery sub known to man (even boss audio lol)
and DDs are better
ok i was wrong but its still a killer sub
18" subs!!! I didnt even know such things existed!!! Although, in a 'real' world of everyday music loving person's ears, would it make much difference compared to 2x15"s? and...is it really nessesary? I mean, wouldnt the bass drown the rest of the music? just a thought!
