    If I replace my stock head unit using plugs will I still have my auto aerial?

    what sort of plugs are you talking about? Butt plugs?

    The wiring plugs from autobarn so i can just plug my stereo in the vt wiring thingy

    yes on the provision that the new deck has the antenna/amplifier remote trigger. Chances are though it will be up all the time when the HU is on...even if your listening to cds.

    i wanna install an electric aerial replacing my manual 1 2 stop clowns gettin the idea of breaking aerials is fun lol ive got an aftermarket head deck and it has the remote wiring 4 my amps. can i connect it up so the aerial only comes on wen i turn the radio on?? if so how??

    You could wire it so that it only goes up when the ignition is on.... but then its up even if your radio/ cds etc are turned off...... I believe it's just a matter of hooking the power antenna trigger to the right ignition wire.... i didnt wire mine like this so check with others on here..... its been a while since my last install

    yer ive been reading a fair few thread but most ppl seem 2 b doin it 2 VN's r they pretty much the same principle as a VT? would it work if i ran another wire from the remote wire from the Head deck and put a switch in between and turn it on wen eva the radios on?? would still like it 2 work only wen the radio turns on it goes up and wen its off it goes down but ne more info would b great?
