    Default VT electric aerial

I have an electric aerial in my VT berlina and want to replace the HU but the factory HU has buttons on it to make the aerial go up and down. So just wondering how would I make the aerial go only half way up with the aftermarket HU?

if you replace the headunit you would just lose control of manually being able to operate the aerial, providing you connect it to the ant wire on the new headunit. The aerial will then go right up when radio is on and when cd is on aerial will go down.
