Default where to mount my amp? vh on gas..

ok well i just went out and bought some kenwood audio,

have it all planned out, everything will fit nicley, exept... the amp!

most of my mates cars have them mounted on the back of the seats, good idea, if you can do it.

the bloody gas tank is in the way, and i dont want to leave the amp on the floor, althrough it seems ill have too, just using velcro or something for stability

so.. any suggestions? well heres a picture of what i bought, and the dam amp.

Thats seems like a prett good buy for $599!

I often times just mounted it down on the drivers side of the boot. There is that big well. Most amps tuck into there quite nicely...or am I thinking of the VL? Or are the boots the same on them?

yeah nice idea, and nice interioir btw
-only problame is that gas tank is in the way, or else that would be the straight out option of where my sub ( soon to be subs ) would go..

If Your worried about security about haveing the sub and amp together, dont be. Truth is, if someone really wants it, they'll get it.

I put my amp oppisite the wheel well.. Vertical, on a piece of Carpeted MDF.

yeah sure thats well and good, but if the crim sees the car as too much work to just et a stereo out then he will probably leave it alone after breaking in to the car.

never mind its all in well and good now, a crim will have a hard time with it tho

the amp is bolted nice and hard down on a fake wall we made near the wheel well, with the sub bolted down on mdf to the floor with some retard nuts on the end that i cant seem to undo now.. =/ , only way to get it out seems to be break off the wall, or break the amp, oh well.

    thanks for the ideas.
