Default VS/Lexcen central locking not working after cd install

Has anyone had a problem with central locking not working after a cd unit has been installed to a T4 lexcen(aka VS comm), thankfully I did not do the install myself, I am thinking that they have used the wrong wires and maybe sending wrong signal to BCM.
Does the BCM need any signal as before the radio would have to be powered from or checked by BCM for correct radio pin installed. How does this normally work when non-gen unit fitted?

the only way i see this making sense is the car shares the fuse for the radio and central locking, but if the radio works fine the locking should...
Need some parts for my VH 253:
Green standard steering wheel...Green lower B-pillar covers.
Green sunglasses holder/lower dash bits...Air-con and assorted engine bay parts.
    PM with any info.

Did you have any front speakers (inside front door pods) installed? If so, perhaps check wiring loom between chassis and front doors. They might have accidently pinched/cut the central locking wires, these run through the rubber boot between chassis and front (&rear) doors. I wouldn't worry about the BCM just yet, highly unlikely.
