Default VY Car computer stuffed by AMP cable

Just wondering if anyone has had any problems installing amp cable past all the computer controls for a VY? THey are at the left side of the footwell on the passengers side of the car.
I ran my amp cable right past them installed all the stereo gear started the car it started like a heap of shit and then when ever i pushed the throttle pedal in it nearly stalled. Unplug the amp and its running fine. Has anyone had this before? and how do you fix it? Im not moving the cable to the otherside as the main wiring harness for the car is on the drivers side.

    Cheers.

well then i guess your car will "run like a heap of shit".
just run it of the other side. if the cable is too short, then dont be cheap just buy some more and do it properly.

if the battery was disconnected while fitting the stereo the PCM may have needed to do an idle relearn, some LS1's do this.

Or the battery wasnt disconnected and he was left with a poor charge until the altenator fixed things? ? ? Strange.
