    Default Help!!!

I just bought a sub and amp today, but cant get them to work.

I have a clarion db346mp h/u with 2 sets of pre outs, and im trying to conect to a mono audioline amp AL8001ZX. For some reason the pwer on my amp only comes on when i have a pre-out hooked up.

And would a 2ch wiring kit work on a mono amp??
Take it easy, just go slow, kinda like a ricer, just try and make less noise.

I do have respect for road rules AND im a P-plater. Ok im lying...but i am a P-plater.

I probably didnt make much sense before.

The amp i have is a monoblock, but the guy gave me 2ch wiring kit. Is there a certain type of wire just for mono blocks??

nah mate same stuff for 1 or 2chan, wat gauge wiring is it?

have u connected up tha remote starter wire from tha amp (duno its proper name), but tha real thin wire from amp in2 headunit along with tha RCAs, cause that wire will tell tha amp 2 turn on wen tha headunit is turned on

Make sure your ground is good... To the chassis somewhere and paint sanded away.

The fault of the amp only turning on when RCA's are connected is because the RCA's act as a ground.

there is a little blue cable that came with the amp that has onyl one wire in it
this is called the memory trigger
connect it to the active terminal on the cigarette lighter for an easy installation
