ok ANYU heat to a circuit board will shorten its life, ut your amps will have a thermal shut down which will turn off the amp/s when they exceed a certain temp.
    dont worry, its ok.

By the sounds of things...not much hotter then what they were. It's not an issue. More of an annoyance.

If it starts to shutdown then you may need to look at ways of keeping them cool.

like 12 volt and garfa... they are fine.

This can be an issue with the cheap no name brands... Jaycar and the like!

funny, my silver response amps havent had a problem in the heat, and ive been running them for about a year or so now. and they dont get babied.

i know the older black ones were supposed to be pretty dodgy heatwise though.

edit: and they are not jaycar brand, they are response brand, distributed by jaycar

ok lets see 43 degree day plus a 130x4 and a 400W monoblock (running ~800Wrms at 1 ohm) with me running them to near clipping. no heat or any other problems.
have you actually had any heat related or anyother problems with the newer jaycar amps with customers products? or was this just another chance to give jaycar a bagging?

Are you deaf yet? You won't get me out of my air-conditioned lounge room nor get the beer out of my hand in heat like that!
