Mine is a VS Berlina 1995. My CD Stacker is not being recognised by the car stereo after the Air Conditioning service (deodorate and re-gas). I've tried,
1. Unplug and plug the connection to the stacker unit at the boot (top mounted)
2. Eject the magazine from the stacker - no response / power to the unit
3. To gain access to the back of the car stereo but do not know how.
Please help as the car dealer performing the service denying anything to do with the incident.
regards,
pho
Factory?
It sounds as though they've disconnected the battery and the settings in your stereo have gone, along with the input for the stacker. If it's aftermarket that should be an easy fix.
Stock headunit I wouldn't know how to change, but I'd be taking it back to whoever did your aircon and making them fix the stereo.

Thread moved to car audio.......
Ok, it simply sounds like they forgot to plug the stacker cable back in after removing the stereo. The thread on how to acess the back of the tape deck can be found here.

Spot on Daron. Many thanks to everyone. Wish you all a Merry Christmas.
hi anyone can help me my cd doesnt come out of my unit anymore vy commodore. it indicates cd error in my unit
remove the head unit for about 10 seconds & put it back in, push the eject button straight away, this should reset the disc loader & allow it to eject.
Try not to use burnt discs in it as theses units are not very tolerant to them
