I just got my filthy hands on a Schneider 12" sub. Just wondering what sort of reputation they have? I can't find too much info on the net about them, just their own website which really doesn't help too much. I've checked this forum out and there is a limited amount of information about people who actually own products from the company themself...does anyone own any Schneider gear? Is it any good? All feedback would be appreciated. Thanks.![]()
i have heard around the grape vine they are made my boss.
Yeh I read on here somewhere it was the same factory as boss. I'll contact them and confirm this.

That sub will perform "ok" but it's basically a pile of poop! Yes it is rebadged Boss and no, it won't last but you got it for a good price right? So it's an awesome sub!
You put you left foot in, your put your right foot in , you take your left foot out and you slide it all about!
Yeah I got it on the cheap...haha. I'm waiting on an amp for christmas...and if the sub decides to kill itself, I've got a box and will just go buy another brand sub...
i had scneider 6x9's once apon a time and they were KILLER! if i was shopping 4 a sub i would consider schneiders coz i already had a good experiance wit em.
CAR: VT Commodore Sedan audio car - SOURCE: 7" double DIN DVD/GPS - AMP: Pioneer monoblock / Pioneer 4 ch. - SUB: Kenwood DB+ 12" in 22lt slot ported box - REARS: Kicker RS60.2 splits - FRONTS: Kenwood KFC-S702P splits - MISC: Custom fiberglass iPhone4 dock moulded in center console, White / red LED cluster and dash lighting, SAAS Vortex drivers seat
I have had a schneider 1.5 farad cap for about 1.5-2 years... Great product ...
never never never never never purchase any 4 channel amps by schnieder
plz dont..do your self a favour
i had purchased a 600watt 4 chanel schnieder amp from a car audio shoip called no-limit..and i tell you it does it a pathetic job..i was runnin the back speakers off it and the front off a pioneer head unit.
the gain on the amp was turned all the way up to 7/8!..and dat was just to get the rear speakers level with the fronts.
the amp it self had mosfets installed..it wen orite for cuple weeks and i had to bring it back to the shop to get em fixed caz dey blew..TWICE!
dont get me wrong..my connections from the head unit to amp and power to amp were all precise
Well yeah, I got it all running. Works a treat and very happy. I'll keep yas up to date on how I go....got the 4 channel schneider amp too! lol.
Oh one question I do have, should I be able to watch the battery levels drop as the sub is thumping?? lol. My battery lasts like 15 minutes when the engines not running!
that isnt a smart thing to do, your just sucking the power out of the battery to run the system, the louder you have it the more power it needs, hence draining the battery quicker. if you really want to listen to it without running the car i suppose you can run a battery with a higher CCA, or just dont thump it when the car isnt started
cheers
yeah i just wont have it thumping...learnt that the other day when i needed a jump start - lucky it was only in my driveway...otherwise how embarrassing lol.
