    Default VZ HU wiring

    Hi all

I've a VZ Acclaim wagon which had a Nokia handsfree kit installed, including stereo input and a control to turn VOX input on and off, amoungst other things. The wiring harness into the nokia controller was a six wire connection.

What do I need to do to get the stereo input to be directed to the VOX input of the HU?

Or if someone has tech docs for the Blaupunkt BP2248 that'd be great.

ie, should the VOX control have 5V, 12V or be grounded when accepting a signal from the stereo line input?

I want to use it to hook an mp3 player up to.

    Hope this makes sense.

As long as you've located the connector, here's the colour coding....

Orange - 12V Supply Battery via fuse... always hot
    Black/Green - 0V ground
Yellow - 12V Acc +12V active with accessory circuits
Yellow w/stripe - Radio Mute signal. Active Low. (ie. pull to ground to activate input - connects to Nokia kit trigger wire)
Blue w/stripe - Audio- speaker connection from Nokia kit
Blue - Audio+ speaker connection from Nokia kit (the other one...)
