    Question VT Rear Speakers

Hi there, I have just sold my VN after my system got stolen and have upgraded to a VT. The bastards didnt manage to get my speakers out of the last car so I have a set of Rockford Fosgate T162C 6.5" Speakers These that I am going to use for my rears.
Thing is, I figure I'm much better off putting them in the rear console than the rear door pods for a better soundscape, but the console only has room for 6X9s in it. I have installed 6X9s in a VY and they fit nicely, but 6.5" round speakers are going to leave alot of space, if I can manage to fit them at all.

Just wondering what anyone else has done with there rear VT speakers without going 6X9 and without door podding them?
    Thanks in advance

is there a reason your not putting them in the front doors?
You put you left foot in, your put your right foot in , you take your left foot out and you slide it all about!

You can get an adaptor to go from 6x9 to 6" or 6.5"

    Cheers

I have RF P162S Components for my front doors, these are my rear speakers.

How do the adapters work? Do they go over the holes that you punch out of the parcel shelf?

The fit into the hole and mount via the screw holes for the 6*9

A picture is worth a thousand word!

The SA69 adapter fits aftermarket 5 1/4" and 6 1/2" speakers in 6 x 9" factory openings and is "convertible" to accomodate a tweeter provision if necessary.
