Default Bolting down subs for RWC

I need to get a RWC for my car and was told that my Subs needed to be bolted down or fixed so they wouldn't fly through my backs seats in a crash.

    Is this true?

I won't be going back to the shop i got it done at anyway. He calls them Bass speakers i stood there looking at him trying to work at what bass speakers were.

Yes it's true and they should be bolted down anyway to stop EXACTLY that....

Bass Speakers? HAHA What a novel idea! Fancy calling a speaker that predominantly reproduces bass frequencies...a bass speaker. What preposterous idea! Although somewhat novel....

If the cars on your property, they're not allowed to search it.

IF its parked or driving on a public street, they can rip you out of it and go through however they choose.

    Stupid Bloody Laws.

I knew i shouldn't of driven with a dead body in the boot :P

why would you want to drive with a sub not bolted down? Its a 5minute job and could save your life.

ummm you would be pretty stupid not to bolt down audio in your boot. "L" bracket's for the sub.
