How to remove stereo from a VQ Statesman + Door Pods

Hey Guys

How do you get the surround out of around the headunit? Also, can you just screw VS door pods into the VQ doorskins? 4" in dash just doesn't really cut it..I'd like to put 6 or 6.5 inch splits in the doors.
