Default Splits or Coaxials + Tweeters?

    Hey all,

Is it better off to get splits, or coaxials and tweeters and set them up seperately to the same channel?

    Any thoughts?

    Cheers

Splits as the other suggestion you have would be a waste of time money and effort! plus what are you going to do for crossovers???

Definitely splits. Shouldn't even need to explain why... coax+tweeter is just a crazy suggestion.

Maybe you're thinking more = better? ie. "2-way coax + tweeter = 3 speakers" is better than "woofer + tweeter = 2 speakers". That's absolutely not the case... splits will go louder and sound much, much nicer.

no they will not go louder, just sound better. its not the size its the quality!
but he is pretty much right, splits will usually, if the prices are the same and same brand ect..., sound better than co-ax for a given volume.
