Hey all, I am looking for someone on Brisbane southside(Algester/Browns Plains area) that can tidy up the wiring in my boot.
I bought a Senator this week & it has 2 amps & a big sub in the boot but the wiring is all over the place.
What I want is for someone to come & tidy up all the wiring & reposition the box as it is in the middle of the boot.
Cash paid & bundy's supplied.
two things:
1) can you take a photo of the boot
2) is there plenty of lengh in the wires or do they need to be extended?
This is what you will be dealing with........
damm thats 1 big mess lol i can c y u wanna palm it off 4 some1 else 2 dohow does the cadience sub go? pretty hard?

I can’t help you out sorry. I’m on the north side of Brisbane and am not heading to the south side in the foreseeable future. But something you could do yourself is buy some cable ties and group the wires together. Put a cable tie every 2 inches or something. Make it look a million times better.
Is the sub screwed/bolted to the floor?
If you are worried about connecting wires back in the wrong place take a million photos of your boot so you have some visual evidence of where stuff ran and what it connected to. A useful thing I also do is get white electrical tape and a fine tipped permanent marker and make up labels saying what was connected to what.
I’m sure there is someone on here that could give you a hand if you are really not confident.
damn thats been butchered...
Gee must say that is very INTERESTING! love how they mounted the extra Kilometre of wiring in the boot... I guess the scissors could not cut the 12ga.. and that a pair of wire cutter were too expensive from SUPA CRAP!

I'm going to see a few places about a system next week....see what they charge for the install/tune etc. I'm still unsure as to whether I should do the install myself or get the pros to do it......
depends if uv got money 2 give away mate, there piss easy to do urself, n theres plenty of help on here with how to's n ****
Yeah I think I might do it myself.....It might be a bit of fun
Yeah do it yourself. I did my first system myself... just using the help and info I got from the Car Audio Australia forums. Got it all up and running on my own with no real hassles, just had to get a mate to build the sub box for me.
It just feels heaps better when you do it yourself, like you've accomplished something big, something to be proud of.
And if you do get stuck anywhere there's heaps of people on these forums that would be willing to help out.
wow that is one messy set up. i can tell you some things. the amps can probly be mounted on the wall where the boot locks up. the power cables can be run up the side of the car through the hole in the right side of the seat wall. the speaker wiring and the rca leads can be run the same way down the left side. and those things mounted on the roof can be relocated easily enough. the speaker, power and RCA leads can be run under the carpet and the grounding cables can be hidden behind the carpet behind the tail lights and be grounded there. hope this helps and the way i have said, you can see almost no wiring atall. worked a treat in my car
dam that bundy is tempting!!! i no nothing about car audio, but 1 thing i know is how to drink bundy![]()
Going where no late model stato/caprice has gone before.... GAME ON!!
it's nothing special. just the subs in the middle with the amp mounted on the boot wall. its upside down so its easier to use the dials and switches on the side.
Any takers?
