Hey guys and girls

I wanna do a boot install i know how to do a false floor but i wanna do the back of my boot as well like how would i do it if u understand what i am sayin please help me out!!!!!

I think you need to build a box to fit above the lump where the fuel tank comes up, then MDF down to your fake floor.

so i cant just some how fix a peice of MDF up the back to use it like a wall?

Oh yea sure, I thought you wanted to mount your subs in that back part. Maybe use some L brackets at the top and fix it at the bottom to your fake floor then

i was thinking bout putting the amps up the back on the wall but dont know how to fix them to the MDF

nah mate u see where u have put that sub i wanna put a wall there and mount a couple of amps there i know i will lose boot space i just personally recon it would look better if i make it more square. Should i use MDF or Pli- wood for my False Floor and the back wall???

probly pli-wood is better IMO. though MDF should do the job. i know what you mean by haveing a false wall made up and installing amps on it. but if your putting a sub in as well in front of this your going to have f*ck all boot space left

yeh thats alright i will never use my boot anyway never really have a reason thinking bout making it easy to dissconnect it like the way i design it make it pretty straght forward to rwemove it so if i ever have to really use my boot just take it out but make it so its not to easy so then me gear dont get stolen

i wouldnt use ply wood as its not as strong and is easier 2 pull ur screws out if some1 tries 2 steal wat eva u got screwed 2 it or 2 even over tightin and cross thread the holes MDF u can get a much better fixing than ply and u can shape it alot easier aswell

if ur not worried bout boot space u can pretty much go 2 town in desigining it lol options r pretty much endless then as 4 makin it so ur sub can cum out easier enough aswell as makin it a lil more theft proof the only thing ive used a couple times as a couple of latches that u can screw 2 ur sub n then 2 either the floor or the top of the parcel shelf least that wat u can mayb put a lock on it but realisticly theres not much point makin as theft proof as u can as if some1 wants 2 steal it they will regardless of wat ya do u can only do somthing 2 mayb slow them down so u might b able 2 get 2 ur car intime or somthin but let us know how u go about it neways

Yeh decided to just go all out im going to design a set up this week and maybe start it this weekend ill use MDF as it sounds like it has more benifits ganna use L Brackets to fix the wall to the top and to fix it to the false floor as soon as i start it ill take some snap shots for you'll
