    Default ***URGENT HELP*** KDC-MP6029 Issue

Hey all, I just bought my car this week & it came fitted with a kdc-mp6029 Kenwood cd player.

To cut a long story short, we had the battery out of the car & now the HU needs a code to get back in. I have asked the previous owner but he didnt know it even had a code.

I have tried 0000 & 9999 but now it is waiting mode.

    PLEASE HELP ASAP

    Cheers.

Pull out the headunit and write down the serial number. Now call Kenwood Australia and be prepared to do some FAST talking.

I know...the average person won't get it. The above average will get it. I've unlocked them before by calling Kenwood and giving the serial number. How else will they identify the unit? You can do it, I have done it, you need to talk fast.

He had to fax them the serial number, his licence, original receipt & a signed declaration that he owned the head unit.
