just a query on where to get this stuff from for cheap
i went to autobahn but its like 40 bucks for 2 meters squared of it.
i only need about half a meter square lol so theres no use spending 40 for that little amount.
does anyone know of anyone who could possibly have some spare, or any online stores you can buy small amounts off? or where else to get it?

U should be able to get sum cut up at strathfeild or Jb, ino autobarn only do pre packed suff, but then uve got a nice price form strath, i ended up gettin mine form autobarn as it was teh cheaper, but if u only need a small amount then i would go to strath or a carpet shop.

i have been told you can get it from bunnings dont know for sure but give them a try i will be doing my boot installation soon so if they have it i will let you know

Id go 2 an uphoster and ask 4 some off cuts prolly charge u a couple dollars 4 it but $40 for 2 meters is pretty cheap even if u dont need it all

you CAN get carpet off the roll at autobahn, but not many places let you unless you know the right people . they usually just make up an excuse that they dont have any carpet out the back because they only do installs with pre-carpeted boxes, but they really do

i got carpet from bunnings. 17 bucks a meter and its over a meter wide.i got half a meter in length and got three times as much as i needed, so i have spare!! also, "perfect putdown" is adhesive you use to stick the carpet to the wood, it works fantastic.
