Tuning the sub

Just finished fitting a head unit speakers amp and sub to my sons car and was just wondering how you tune ( for want of a better word ) the sub to the rest of the system . The instructions that came with it are not too clear. Looks like they are written by a Chinese guy with limited English

What exactly do you want to do? Is the sub in a ported box and you want to know how to tune the ports properly? Or are you wanting to know how to set up the amp to drive it properly?

If you just want to know to set up the amp then have a look in the tutorials section of those CAA forums and look for tutorial on setting the gains properly. It will explain everything you need to know.
