handy tip - Dynamat Xtreme.

I put this in the front doors of my calais after installing my splits.

2 sheets was enough for both fronts and it has made a huge difference.
Sound is deeper, less rattles, less road noise and a noticably more solid thunk when closing the door.

Weightwise, the 2 sheets weighed maybe 1kg or more.

anyone thinking about sound damping materials should consider this.

i did my hole car boot 4 doors double layered raear shelf anything that was painted go it and its way so much tighter
no rattles here

your right i used 4.5 sheets out of the bulk pack for 1.5 for each door and the boot lid
