Hi, in the mean time until I can upgrade to a Phreddy kit, Im using hi-lo converters to run my amps and subs.
Due to me not wanting to rip the head unit out just yet, Im going to cut the current wires going to the door speakers, join and run them to the amps, and then run them back to the speakers, and throw a couple of joiners in.
What I need some advice on is how to remove the kick panels, and the bit of plastic that covers between the bottom of the door and the carpet for the front and rear doors. This will also come in handy when I do upgrade to the Phreddy kit, and run proper cabling, but in the mean time, this will have to do.
Also, can anyone tell me due to not having a remote on the headunit to plug into the amp, what sort of problems could this lead to?
Thanks a lot

the cover i think your trying to describe lifts out with a flat head screwdrivert then there are screws you undo and then lift the plastic cover out.
If your going to that much trouble cutting wires and crap you should just get a new head deck, i was gonna do what your thinking but it was easier to get a new head deck and amp. and its bloody easy to do your self.
