less power

i have a pretty mint sound set up. im runnin a jvc amp to 4 6.5 inch pioneers and runnin a dub audiobahn 6002 to a 12 inch kicker solo baric. it used to crank, and i mean really crank, but today it has lost power to the sub and speakers, im runnin 4 gauge wiring and it has been grounded properly. i bought a capacitor but it isnt working, its a jaycar 2 farrad. also there is alot of interferance and high pitched whistles throught the speakers. any ideas would be great!

Check your connections, particularly the grounds. Sounds like it may have come loose. The cap was probably a waste of money im afraid. Still, no harm in wiring it in if you cant take it back as it didnt solve your problem
