VY steering wheel controls with jvc headunit?

hey guys im thinking a vy steering wheel conversion in my car, i was just wondering if i can hook up the steering wheel controls up to my jvc headunit? i dont have the controls in mine at the moment

i imagine you can but youll have to get the wiring for the buttons then hooks them up to a PAC SWI-X

pac-audio.com make one model number SWI-ALP it works for VY's i have one in my car for my alpine deck it works with kenwood, jvc and alpine head decks.
I got mine imported from the US cause it was way cheaper but you can get them here through JB, northfield etc.
Dont listen to them when they say they wont work cause they do and my car is proof, they tried to sell me some infrared **** when i went in there.

Ok, so it works on a VY with an aftermarket headunit. But are you able to wire them up to a VT? Or was the wiring completely different?

I have just sold my VY commodore and have no use for the steering wheel control interface as i took the head unit out, it is a pac audio hard wired unit suitable for alpine, kenwood and jvc after market head units model SWI-ALP.

see pac-audio.com for further info. These things retail for $250 plus i have all the original instructions and everything so make me an offer. I am located in brisbane if you wish to pick up.
