If ur goin off ebay id at least stick 2 ur known brands even if they have been refirbished which ppl claim thats wats on ebay. Ive purchased 2 pioneer amps 1 4 channel and a mono block, the 2 year warrenty (check up on that 2) is almost up so i can say even buyin off ebay isnt all as bad as they say and they r still goin hard atm but still b wary of things like that tho. as just mentioned u get wat u pay 4.

Hey mate ur current Fusion amp prolly has more power then that ebay thing.

My old JL Audio amp was rated at 40wrms x2 and it ran 2 JL 12's bloody good! I payed $350 for it. So yeah I would also have to agree with wats been previously mentioned in this thread a few times bout u get wat u pay for. I once bought a 100w Sound 4 amp for $40 (was my first ever amp...if u could call it that), was absolute crap....didn't even notice an improvement in the sound.

    PMSL at that amp!!!

5000 watts hey... hmmm at 14 volts that means it would draw about 357 amps if it were 100% efficient... I'm going to assume its class AB because its not mentioned on the listing (if it were class D it would be worth mentioning) which means its probably only about 50% efficient... which means 714 amps required to supply the full 5000 watts.

The thermal energy from dissipating as much heat as sound would cause it to run about as hot as two bar heaters on full.
