into the boot mate
try facing the subs into the boot and try them facing into the car. Whichever sounds better is the way they should point.
as for your head unit, the battery connection has been messed up when installed and has been connected to ignition switched power. The head unit needs to be connected to a source of 12 volts even when the car is off to retain the settings. It should also have a connection to ignition switched power so that it knows when the car is on.
This should be outlined with colour codes etc in the instructions that came with the head unit. Check the eurovox wiring chart (on here) to make sure its connected to the correct wires in the factory loom.

personally, ide go into the boot. and face the subs towards your tail lights
Shaggerz advice of try it and see is ultimately the best, but if you cant be bothered, it. box at the back of the car, face into the taillights.

i think there is a thread about this on this site and it was determend that it sounds better facing 2wards the boot altho it is a choice of the car owner to what they think sounds better
U really just gotta try them, i found sum subs sound better out then in n vice versa, mine sound like crap facin into the car, but face them to the boot n they are smooth as.
I found when i only had one sub that it didnt sound as bad faceing into the car, but when 2 were pointing in i got really bad wobble interferance.
Trying it n listening to both ways is the only way to determine the best way to face.
