does anyone know where i run the power lead for my amp through the fire wall, also how should i mount the amp and sub in the boot
I like to get one of those rubber grommets mounted in the firwe wall and poke a hole in it, then force the wire through it, then replace the grommet.
Pull the wire through and wallah.
Run it through the conduits located along the side of the car where the doors are, allt he way back and behind the back seat and into the boot.
those conduits are easy to remove so dont panic.
as for mounting that is up to you, my mate mounted hes amp on the side wall of the boot and the sub is sitting on the middle, my amp and sub are mounted in the middle.
Its upt oy ou really.
If u have an auto, u could also chuck it through the clutch hole.![]()

That could possibly be the clutch hole. The clutch hole would only be a few centimeters away from the booster if it's anythin like the ol Commy's.
Another way, altho I've never done it like this...is to run it down with the fuel and brake lines under the car, then drill a hole and have it going up into the boot. Not sure how long it would last under there tho. The brake and petrol lines wouldn't be there if rocks and stuff always hit them, and apparently the only reason the fuel and brake lines are that metal-ish pipe is so they don't need to be replaced often like rubber hoses. So maybe that could be another reasonable option, altho I'd prefer to run the cable through the car.
