Try the alpine type s.
i run two of them and love them. great sound with the right amp. theyre nothing special just a good quality sub. not too expesive, round the $130 mark i think.
i got a blue pioneer 12inch 800 watt sub and it sounds sweet running of a 500 watt amp. Bought it for around 80 bucks without box
You can pick up a Sony Xplod sub, from what i remmember its 1000 watts for 158 dollars including box. Can find that at JB HI FI.
im only after one that is around 180W rms because i have two channels on my amp that arent doing anything and bridged these two channels will only put out around approximately 160W rms so im not after a big sub just something to give some bass.
mate you will not get a big sub for $100, sorry to say.
pretty much just go to jb or somewhere like and listen to a few.
yer i agree that sub will b big enough 4 wat u want and 4 the price ive seen them go in shops including box 4 $120 and less again 4 the 10" sub
should b able 2 get then at ne pioneer rep as they r old stock thats y they r so cheap

whats jaycar? never heard of it before
i have to agree with the above posts if you only have 180WRMS to throw at it Alpine Type S is probably your best bet.

the gear they stock is actually "Response" but its pretty good value for money stuff![]()
* Phreddy's Blaupunkt Aux input and line out mod
* 18x8 inch Equus Kalibur Wheels with Maxxis MAV-1 235/40R18
* Sureflo 3.5 inch medium-loud cat back exhaust
The 12" Pioneer W306C can be had for around $100, and has a good reputation. I've personally only heard the model preceding it (305c), but it sounded quite good and loud for the money.
Rockford P1 12" can also be had for around that price, these are also a good sounding budget sub IMO. I ran one of these off 190Wrms before I upgraded.
Or, if you're willing to go second hand you can probably get something a bit better if you keep a lookout for bargains. I got a Boston Rally for $35- not overly loud, but a really sweet sounding sub.
