im only after one that is around 180W rms because i have two channels on my amp that arent doing anything and bridged these two channels will only put out around approximately 160W rms so im not after a big sub just something to give some bass.

yeah i realise im not going to get a big sub as i dont need a big sub because my amp isnt powerful enough for a decent sub.
i was really just wanting to get some suggestions about what sort of subs(brand and model, size etc) are around that put out around 150W rms?
    cheers

from autobarn in elizabeth. The sub is excellnt as it doesn't have too much bass and doesn't drown out the vocals. Just the right amount of bass that still packs plenty of punch

i have to agree with the above posts if you only have 180WRMS to throw at it Alpine Type S is probably your best bet.

The 12" Pioneer W306C can be had for around $100, and has a good reputation. I've personally only heard the model preceding it (305c), but it sounded quite good and loud for the money.

Rockford P1 12" can also be had for around that price, these are also a good sounding budget sub IMO. I ran one of these off 190Wrms before I upgraded.

Or, if you're willing to go second hand you can probably get something a bit better if you keep a lookout for bargains. I got a Boston Rally for $35- not overly loud, but a really sweet sounding sub.
