My mate had a set of them in the doors. He took the old door pods out and made his own and got them carpeted and fitted them back in with the 6x9's in them. He did it properly and it looked like a good custom job. Fair bit of work though to do it so it looks good.

    Yup, it's very possible.

In the doors (requires cutting the doors)

In between the two seats (no stereo effect purely mono)

    Behind the two seats (muffled)

Is it worth it? Nope! Purchase a set of a 6" splits and get more enjoyment out of them.

mine were behing the headrests in shallow little boxes when i got it, they sucked, i threw them behind the seats, i think they still work im not sure.... can hear them over the others lol, put some nice 4s in the dask and some 6's in the doors, sub under your tray and itl sound choice as

why spend double the money on 6" and 4" when you can buy a better quality pair of speakers when purchasing a set of splits.

Thats what i thought, ill just get some splits, and the sub under the tray, i think i am over 6*9s, jus that they gove reasonable bass, but compared to a 6" they arent as clear, slo_firo where do the speakers go in the dash, i cant see anywhere that they could go, the onli reason im thinkin bout puttin dash speakers in is to bring the stage forward a bit, but i suppose the tweeters on a set of splits would do that anyways.

umm mines a vg so we have dash speakers lol i put vs speaker pods onto my vn trims, if you buy splits you could cut a small hole for them and flush mount, will look smart as if you can get a hole saw in anywhere decent

6x9's wioll be worth it splits dont put out nearly as much bass as 6x9's, if you dont have a sub 6x9's are highly recommended.

i would probably go a set of 6-6.5 inch splits in the doors with a single 12 or 2 10 inch woofers that suit small enclosures

You obviously never installed a pair of 6.5 splits properly.

my cousin has a pair of pioneer bullet series splits in his VS ute. they go really well. excellent clarity and midbass. 6x9's aren't worth it IMO!
