    Question Replacing Eurovox Stacker

    Hi guys.

I just brought a VT acclaim S2 which has the eurovox H/U and 10 disc stacker.
Of course the stacker isn't working and comes up with that bloody frustrating code E99.
I have tried the 6 sec reset thing and unplugging it, to no avail.
So I presume it's stuffed, cause' now the cartridge seems to be jammed as well.

    So my question is this;
Can I plug in another brand of Stacker? Will any stacker be compatable? Or do we need to replace the lot?
I can't live without decent music in the car, and using my fm receiver with my mp3 player just isn't cutting it.

    Cheers

    Hey buffy

Just got mine repaired cause my motor was stuffed and it broke the spindle off cost me $209 but there was $33 in fright in there ( good if you live in melb

But you might be lucky what happens is a cd jams in there because there is not enough down pressure on the cd to grip the exit rollers so if ya can handle it pull the case off easy sit it on a box plug it in press eject and put a bit of pressure on the cd should come out but if it takes a little black spindle with it your in my boat.

I think the only alternative is a Kenwood where you have to tune it in the radio and have a separate remote

    Regards,

    Decksta

Well I figured it would cost more than it's worth.
And from what i have read on here, everyone that's had the same problem has said the stacker is buggered.
But I might ring Eurovox and see what they say.

Thanks for the tip. I figured It might be the cd's fault.
Perhaps it's not a fan of the new Paul Stanley CD then....
