good head deck for 700 bucks????

hey wats goin on boys! i was just wonderin if anyone new of a good headunit i could buy new...ive got around 700 bucks to spend on it...all help would be great! thanx hope to hear from use soon...

What features do you want? How many amps will you be running?

Some of pioneers new higher end head units (cant remember model numbers off the top of my head) are going for about $700 - maybe a little more depends if you can work a deal. They have a couple of RCA outputs (front, rear, sub) if you are planning on running amps. They have most of the gimmicks that are available these days - OEL screens, bluetooth, and all the other features sales people love to tell you about. (quite a few of the features are actually good though if you like to really customise your sound/equalizer settings)

Anyway as you might have guessed i am a supporter of pioneer head units so there are other brands that will have all the same features. Check some websites (pioneer, clarion, alpine etc.) to get an idea on features and prices.

No point asking us to choose what you like. Go to a shop, find someone that knows what they are talking about, tell them the features that you are looking for and find the one that you like.

For instance, do you want bluetooth, ipod connection? Each model comes with a different feature. Find one that matches what youre after.

Just go to places like JB hifi, that carry a big range. You dont have to buy the head unit from there, but they will have a big working range for you to check.

thats what i have, plays mp3's on cd,usb,and sd memory card, can have slideshow screensaver on lcd display, and attach to original steering wheel controls via hardwired interface(not infrared), can attach ipod and bluetooth via interface
