    Default anyone used 4" splits??

    Hi all,
Just after peoples thoughts on 4" splits.
I need to use them in my rodeo as i can't fit bigger ones in!
Looked at some pioneer ones for $185 that sound good thru an amp.
What are peoples thoughts, i'm not prepared to hack my doors to death in the front or back besides, the door frame is quite narrow so they would stick right out and get the living suitcase kicked out of them by the kiddies
So what are the ones to get? Any help appreciated

Tough call, I've typically found that 4" splits are generally not worth it compared a pair of 4" two ways.

    But it's your call!

    Hmmm, thanks guys.
Will think about it a bit more, they sounded good when they had them going compared to the yellow pioneer ones(Kevlar is it???)

They should go quite nicely - it's just that you won't get any real bass performance out of them, being only a 4" cone. If you can team them up with something in the back to help with the bottom end - say a decent pair of 6.5" or even 6x9", or better still a sub hidden somewhere, should be great.
