hey everyone, recently bought a motorized flip out 7.5" monitor off a mate and want to put it into my VK. i was thinking of putting the screen in the standard stereo place, and moving my head unit down to the pocket on my center console.
ive attatched a pic of what my interior is like so you know what im talking about..
just need to know if theres enough space to put my head unit down the bottom? cheers

yeah theres room u just gotta cut the back of it out.
ok cool, also, my head unit doesnt do DVD (it says it does on the box, but theres no input for a monitor??)
so im putting my PS2 into my glove box to use as the DVD player and for games, but is there a way that i can run just the sound through my head unit? so i can adjust volume etc from the head unit but use all the controls of the PS2 for the DVDs?
ur game putting all that **** into a vk mate, hope you got it all locked up safe!
had my vk broken into in my driveway and they got my mp3 deck, not good!
i knw when i put my dvd player in, it didnt even fit it was stickin out like 3-5cm n wudnt go in ne more, but other then that it did looked good, yeh just a good alarm n hopefully shud fine, lol i had no probs when i had it in but a soon as i sold it that week it got broken into :P he wasnt very happy
ive got a real good alarm and my car is never left anywhere unatended for long..
the best part of a good alarm/imob is that anyone who know even a little (like me) will be able to break into and disable the security.
it will only take a few minutes for that to happen.
or they will just use a saber saw and cut it out.
expensive gear in a daily driver is just a bad idea plain and simple.
lucky my screen wasnt expensive then hey, does anyone know if i can do what i asked about in post #3
failing that u could use an fm transmitter or something
or wire it directly into an amp
