guys and gals
I own a vs calais with the 10 stacker cd and the maestro series h/u. Ever since I got the car i have been intermitently recieving this Error Code- 99
(E-99). I have unplugged the stacker many times in order to reset it, and I have also reset it from the h/u many times by holding down the ON/OFF button for 6 seconds. By reading previous threads it seems like i'm up for a new cd stacker. Does anyone have any advice for me regarding this. Or can anyone tell me if it is possible to fit a Pioneer CDX-P70 6 cd stacker to this factory head unit? If so how?
Thanks
pmik
holden is like all other companies, they will only replace if the repair and other costs are greater than the unit itself.
they probably replacded your unit with a referb one and then had yours sent back to the repair place and repaired ready for the next faulty car stereo.
their main goal is to get your car out as quickly as possible, a car waiting for a radio and using space is not cost effective.
Hey mate
Eurovox emailed me these 2 pdf documents. One is the fault codes and the other is how to reset them.
Hope it helps.

Thanks Dan, Garfa, and OZI51X for replying....I tried the procedures outlined in the documents you sent to me Dan.. They worked...I was resetting the stacker correctly as i have read in previous replies....but your information says to do that with the cd magazine emptied then placed back in the CD stacker...I was resetting it with the cd magazine full and i wasn't getting any success.....know no problems...thankyou...hopefully it behaves for a while.....
cool bananas mate.
Cheers

Dan, Garfa, OZI51X and PMIK,
I have just been quoted $400 to take out the CD stack and have the parts replaced. By chance I came across this correspondence. Thanks a lot for helping to resolve the problem in a very straight forward and effective way and as a result saved me the possibility of paying a substantial amount for to have the unit repaired.
