Just found a cheap deck with USB....$99

Car Stereo with USB, SD / MMC Card Reader, MP3 and AM /FM Radio : oo.com.au



Just found it in a catalouge, checked out the site and yeah it don't look to bad for $99.

At the moment I'm not looking at putting 2gether another decent sound system (did that once and it got pinched). All I'm looking for in a deck is that it plays cds, mp3, has atleast one rca preout and I really want USB but wasn't gonna worry bout it coz I couldn't find anything cheap enuf with it.

But yeah then I saw this....anyone heard of them b4, or know if they will last a few years?

never heard of it. honestly id just spend a bit more and get a jvc with usb input

The cheapest JVC deck with USB is about $250 I rekon. If I was gonna spend that much I'd spend a few extra dollars and get a Pioneer deck. I bought a JVC deck a few years ago to replace my 10 year old Pioneer deck, but it didn't come close to the quality of the old Pioneer deck....so I gave it to my Mum and bought a new Pioneer deck. I'd still have it 2day but someone else thought they deserved it more then me and nicked my whole stezza (pioneer deck,power acoustic amp, jl amp , 2 12" JL subs).

The reason I thought about the one above was coz it has wat I want, and coz it's cheap as chips. It might be pretty cruddy (especially only 25x4) but I only want it to last a while until I get some coin saved up to buy a new stezza.

Wat u say does make sense tho, but all I'm after is a cheapy to play some music for a while.

fair enough mate... my old jvc deck blew my old pioneer deck and sony deck outta the water... and was a bit easier to use than my current eclipse deck.. tho sq wise the jvc cant hold a bar to the eclipse

expect $99 worth of use pretty much. it will play a cd probably, but really what do you want?
if its lowest price possible then just get the cheapest one, which will be the one you have found.

If its just a short term thing to get you by then that would probably do.
