VX headunit works and doesen't works

i have a problem with my vx headunit... the problem is that when i play burnt CD's on it it works but then sometimes the same CD doesn't work.
when i put the CD in it trys to load it up but sometimes it goes E-4 and just ejects out. but sometimes when i put the CD in it just works no probs. WHY WHY??

and also if i leave the CD in overnight when it was playing the previous time i drove it. i get back in the car and start her up and it just trys to load it up again but then comes with E-4 and spits it back out. WHY WHY??

can someone enlighten me on why this is.?

Don't know exactly why, but the stock head units are temperamental when it comes to playing burnt CD's. Same in the VY.

I remember reading here somewhere to try burning them at a slower speed or something?

i think all u can do is to make sure ur discs are clean

failing that (which is likely) u will have to try to find a particular brand of disc that ur h/u may prefer and stick with it
