    Default Option Audio amp?

hey guys, was looking at the option audio SMX1502 mono amp to power my powerplant subs. claims to put out 1500wrms @ 1ohm so would eat 2x12" subs. has anyone had, or had anything to do with option stuff?

    cheers

installed the amp but just wondering a couple of things. ive connected the subs to load at 2ohms (one sub wired parallel to either amp channel, i think thats right?) so the amp will be putting out around 800wrms+. im considering what gauge power/earth would be the best, along with fuse type/size. i will also be installing an mtx thunder 4204 4 channel (around 250wrms) amp to power my components, what do i need to consider when i do this regarding the wiring/fuse requirements of the monoblock?

    tips much appreciated

2ga sould be fine with 160A slow blow fuse as long as thats all thats geting run off it but if your thinking about gewtting other amps and what not go 0 ga and have thge whole fused distro block and what not.

yeah would probly be the go. instead of dist. block tho i was thinking it would be easier if i leave the current 8ga cables in and run the mtx amp off that, and put in a 2/4ga for the monoblock. any disadvantage with having 2 fused power cables run?
