a good sub or 2 for 500 bux

im thinking of upgrading my Subs, i currently have dual 12 sealed subs and want to upgrade to either 1 single ported or 2 ported
price range is up to or at 500 bux.
im after something that will hit hard, low and make your chest hurt wen its turned up. but for 500 bux i am restricting myself alot here.
i was thinknig along the lines of....
dual JBL bandpass 500wrms
1 mtx 750wrms ported
1 L7 kicker solo baric
dual cadence in ported box

One good sub will go better than two half decent subs... definitely go the single sub option. Kicker Solo baric's are a very good sub, although I've never been a fan of the square sub. You can't go wrong with DD either, and it would definitely be my preference sub. But both are awesome and would make you very happy, I think you should try and have a listen to both subs and see which one you prefer.

EDIT: You got a good amp to power this new sub?
