Gday all,
Has anyone heard of alpines IMPRINT technology before? I came across it today while chatting to VKStevo about head units. I dont know if its any good but looks very professional.
Heres some links. The second link shows great screenshots of the PC software.

Alpine CDA-9887 with Imprint Kit (KTX-100EQ) - Diy Mobile Audio
Can't say i've experience it first hand, but heard its supposed to be really good.. I can tell you that, that Head Unit is absolutely awesome even without the imprint kit.. Easily the best ipod interface and so responsive..
looks like alpine's attempt at getting an rta and eq for the mainstream user.......
STUFF THAT!
for people who are confused about it all. heres a simple straight-forward description that I found. The MultEQ calibration kit includes PC software, cables and a high-precision microphone. You simply connect the Head Unit to the PC and follow the instructions on the screen — the whole process is quick and easy. The software analyses the acoustic environment and corrects the problems, downloading the results into the Head Unit. When music plays, the car’s acoustic problems are cancelled, for near perfectly linear response.
