All I'm running is a Pioneer HU and a Pioneer 12 stacker with the stock standard speakers and I am more than happy with the quality of the sound the stockies produce. Unfortunately for the first time ever in the 9 years I've been driving a VS one of the rear speakers has blown.
I'm wondering if someone could recommend me a basic speaker that will bolt straight up to the existing holes? No drilling, no specers, I don't want a sub or 6x9's. Just a nice sounding basic speaker for the rear that can handle a fair bit of volume without costing a lot.
Thanks.
Car theives should be treated just like horse theives and cattle rustlers in the days of the wild west... Hang them!
Don't be stupid. Power isn't measured by the size of your tacho
i would say just go for another stocker. you like the sound and a speaker that will sound as full as the stocker will cost a few hundred at least plus the holes might not line up (not that that is hard to fix).
go visit the wreakers.
Good point. Cheaper too.

yer if you just want the one speaker replaced getting another stockie would be the go. if you go aftermarket youd have to change both the rear speakers for even sound/quality. although, it would be a peice of **** once you have the shelf out and you would probably get better sound out of some good pioneers etc if u wanted to spend the $
