hey guys, ive just been out hunting for a sub and ive found one. its an MTX sledgehammer, sounds sik. My current setup is as follows,

Front:
Infinity 270W 90RMS Splits
Pioneer 300W 60RMS Amp

Rear:
Pioneer 260W 50RMS speakers
Sony 250W 55RMS Amp

Coming soon

Boot:
MTX 12" Sledgehammer 600W 300RMS
AMP??????????????????

What amp do u recommend? throw as many as u can at me, if it helps, i only want to spend under $300, because i wasnt initially going to spend so much on the sub.

You'd be best off with an Alpine monoblock for that, say a v-power MRD 400 or similar, can be had second hand between 250- 300 easily.
What coils does the MTX have? you want at least 300 Watts RMS getting to it, and coil config will decide which amp can give you that 300.
