amp recommendation

hey guys looking at buying a 12" alpine type r subwoofer can anyone suggest a good amp to run this as good as it can. i'm wanting to spend in the $300-$400 range thanks

a monoblock with atleast 800-900W RMS... and make sure the box is ported or you will blow the rubbers off the subs frame when pushed hard.... trust me on that

i was going to make it sealed because i heard these subs are alot cleaner when sealed

are you running the new triple rubber type R or the older type?

the new ones are ok, its the old ones with the problems...
