custom boot install is in the making!

Well after getting the vl calais for my daily for work i decide it was time to throw my old subs/amps back in the boot, but the good thing is that i can fully use all the boot space to create a custom boot install in this car as i have the vs calais as my wifes daily and the general hauler for any luggage I wanted however to be able to keep the spare tyre in the boot but still maintain a show class boot install ect, so after looking around @ other vl examples of boot installs i decided i wanted something a bit more different and a little bit neater my goal at the end of the boot install is to have a professional appearance and be able to store up to a 19inch tyre in the boot (with easy roadside removall e.g not pull half your install out) without making it look nasty and without cutting up the boot floor! i have already though out a plan and will post pics of my progress! if it works it should be great if not i spose its back to the drawing board will post pics as i go enjoy

ridah top install mate
when i was doing the layout for the vl install, i was going to do a similar design but i couldnt get the spare tyre to fit properly, but looking @ your pics i might be able to work with it still maybe! anyway overall great looking install! do the subs still sound alright & go hard facing that way? ( i know sub frequences are omni directioinal) but was just curious?

i had no other choice, but to face them out! haha..i didnt know how to overcome the boot hinge problem, i had to build a cavity for the boot hinges and now the subs wont fit with the magnet facing inside the box lol. But overall it sounds good, well for 'Boss' subs for that matter LOL.

they do the job, but i'd like to upgrade to better 12" subwoofers sometime down the track
