Where should i look for cheap car audio gear.

hi everyone im looking to buy some car audio gear in the next few weeks and looking to get a bargain so anyone know of any good places. i know of strathfield,jb hi fi, and thats about it really im going to install it myself so thats no hassle and im in the sydney area so any info will be greatly appreciated. also if anyone knows places in other parts of australia for the other members of just commodores..

make sure you dont get cheap brands otherwise theres no real point in upgrading your stereo.. go to JB hifi and ask how much discount they will give you if you buy a full system together

Man just spend some real money, theres no point "upgrading" your stereo if you just get cheap components. Check out FHRX studios (Caringbah) and Droran Pro Audio (Bankstown).

Or you could go used. Check out second-hand stuff, even used markets can have great products at very good rates.

Post a WTB in the trading section on these forums, maybe some members can do you a good deal.

Strathfields cheap for any part of ur system that u need mate, ive found cheap speakers at autobahn, supercheaps has cheap Headunits at time to time, though supercheaps amps suck! lol

ebay.com.au, they have some rediculously cheap sounstream gear on there ive seen new 15" tarantula's go for less then $400 and picassos for just over $200 its f*&n rediculous hope your looking for subs anyway

i think most retailers and online shops/auctions can be cheap from time to time, depends what brand/type of component you are chasing. wow sight and sound seem to be the overall best for price and range in my area...

If its real...

Ask yourself... Where did they get them so cheap? They aren't authorised Soundstream Dealers so they have to buy them from somewhere and they have to make a profit on what they pay.
