    well we will need more specs.

    the two pioneers are sealed yeah? they will generally have a tighter sound over ported. but ported is more efficient and depending on tuning can play lower. all comes down to your taste in music and what your looking for.

    yes the pioneers are sealed, this is wot it says on the back of each pioneer sub;

    i like dance music; drum and bass, house, techno. and hip hop.

    i will buy a cd/dvd touchscreen head unit for i get around to it

    ok so the pioneers are 400wrms @ 4ohm each. if the amp can put out 800wrms @ 2ohm then they would suit the amp nicely.

    what about the lightening audio sub? im assuming thats 1000w max? need more info.

    for your style of music I would go ported. but even so you might prefer sealed.

    where did you get 1000w from? its only 750w max but doesnt really mean much anyway.

    what are the power figures of the amp?

    the pioneer subs would get 360wrms @ 2 ohm. the subs are rated at 400wrms EACH so it would be greatly underpowered.

    the option audio sub would get a maximum of 250wrms @ 4ohm. the sub is rated at 150wrms.

    its always better to overpower then underpower. I would go the option audio sub if you dont want to buy another amp.

    set the gain correctly and overpowering wont be a problem.

    Definitely go the Pioneers, much better branded sub than the Lightning Audio's even if they are made by Rockford Fosgate.
